Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for marketing purposes. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, and who may not use it for their own purposes:

  • IONOS — our website host, which stores the site and its server logs.
  • Microsoft — our email provider, through which enquiries reach us.
  • Google — which provides the reCAPTCHA spam protection on our enquiry form.

Where a provider processes data outside the United Kingdom, we rely either on UK adequacy regulations or on standard contractual clauses approved for that purpose.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for 24 months, so that we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Records relating to clients are kept for seven years after an engagement ends, to meet our contractual, tax and professional obligations. Server logs are kept for 12 months.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to how we process it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis we rely on.

To exercise any of these rights, email enquiries@aphsltd.com. We respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would ask that you raise it with us first, so that we have the chance to put it right.

Cookies

Our use of cookies is described in our Cookie Policy.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
